Geometric Shape, rectangles are the shape.

Biomorphic Shape. Lots of curves created by the different wood stains.

Positive Shape, negative space is the background which highlight the stars and lines.

Negative Shape, Positive Shape creates the negative shapes which is the floor coloring.

Line Collections Assignment

This is an example of bad composition. There isn't really a sense of balance in this picture whatsoever. Color is different in all area so the focal point does not exist,and the image is more nonsense than anything else. The subject cannot really be determined because their is no artistic cue being used to define it in the photograph.

This is an example of good composition. The image subject is the pikachu backpack,which because of the bright yellow coloring draws the eye to the right side of the image. The balance of the image is asymmetrical because the focal point is to the right. But even the less dominant side is defined by the clear distinct lines which are perpendicular to each other. The background is not one solid color but instances of different hues.

This is an example of good composition because the flowers being the subject of the picture stand out perfectly even though the picture itself is asymmetrical. The coloring of the flower is distinct and dominant in the photograph and stands out from the green background. The white within the petals is captured enough that the flowers aren't just one visual solid color, but is represented in different hues of pink to the eye.

This picture would be an example of bad composition because there is a lack of color distinction. Nothing particularly draws the eye because everything seems to blend. There is a lack of dominance of the little girl figure. Her shape blends into the background. The fencing which isn't the focus makes more of a statement.
